The Grove Sun Daily Georgia Lohoma Heard 1924-2005 JAY, Okla. - Georgia Lohoma Heard, 81 year old lifetime resident of Jay, Okla., passed away Sunday, February 20, 2005 at the home of her sister in Jay, following an extended illness. Lohoma was born on February 18, 1924 in Jay, Okla. to Paul Earp and Myrtie (Pritchett) Earp. She was a homemaker and worked as a waitress and cook in several area restaurants throughout her life. She was a member of the Southside Church of Christ. Lohoma was united in marriage to Hooley Heard on march 19, 1940 in Jay Okla. He preceded her in death on December 14, 1991. Her parents, two brothers, Richard and Mitchell (Bud) Earp and one sister, Margaret Martino also preceded her in death. Survivors include: one son, Jim Heard and wife, Jean of Jay; three sisters, Fannie Payton, Orpha Barnhart and Melba Price, all of Jay; two grandchildren, Jimmy Ray Heard and Kathy Jo Jeffries; and two great grandchildren, Tegan Heard and Taryn Heard. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at the Turner Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2005 at the Turner Funeral Chapel in Jay, Okla. with Mr. Mark Sherrell and Mr. Steve Stenzel officiating. Interment will be in Mt.
