All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Rosedale Cemetery--Ada OK The Grove Daily Sun 20 Jan 2007 Loretta Bell "Rita" Moss 1932-2007 GROVE, Okla. – Loretta Bell "Rita" Moss, 74, died Saturday, January 20, 2007 at her home in Grove. Rita was born July 26, 1932 at Ada, Okla. to John G. Gunter and Eula Bell (Birchfield) Gunter. She grew up in Ada and graduated from Ada High School. Rita lived in several locations during the course of her life, including, Oklahoma City, Texas, Arkansas and Alabama. She married Alfred Leon Moss on September 5, 1992 at Heflin, Ala. The couple moved to Grove in 1994. Rita was a member of the First Baptist Church, Miami, Okla. and had attended Grove Assembly of God. She was a member of the Green Country Squares square-dance club and in her younger days was an avid bowler. She loved to play cards, especially, Canasta. Rita was a homemaker and a dog lover and her current pet was a Yorkie Poo that she was very fond of. Survivors are: her husband, Leon of the home; a son, Monty Hackler and his wife, Raylene of Grove; a step-daughter, Sherry Butler of Gravette, Ark.; four grandchildren, Kevin Sheppard and his wife, Rosanna of Miami, Okla., Angela Bothum and her husband, Tim of Allendale, Mich., Kiamichi Saulter of Grove and Calvin Dale Wiess of Jay, Okla.; three step-grandchildren, Robbie, Joshua and Solomon Butler, all of Gravette; six great-grandchildren and a special friend and caregiver, Kathy McCullum of Spavinaw, Okla. She was preceded in death by: her parents; a daughter, Barbara Elaine “Bobbie” Sheppard; a brother, Paul Allen Gunter; and a sister, Mozelle Schornick. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, January 25, at Worley- Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove. Committal service will be at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, at Rosedale Cemetery, Ada, Okla. Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Family suggests donations to the Cowskin Women’s Auxiliary c/o Grand Savings Bank.
