All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Hickory Grove Cemetery--Copeland OK The Grove Sun Daily Beatrice Powers Mitchell 1915-2005 GROVE, Okla. - Beatrice Powers Mitchell, 89 year old Grove, Okla. resident, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2005 at the Grove Nursing Center in Grove following an extended illness. Beatrice was born on April 13, 1915 in Rose, Okla. to John Powers and Mattie (Guinn) Powers. She attended Grove Public Schools. She was a homemaker. Beatrice was united in marriage to Leonard Mitchell on January 23, 1933 in Pineville, Mo. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leonard, one sister, Jessie Feilds and one brother, Frank Powers. Survivors include: two daughters, Eunice M. Dresser of Monterey Park, Calif., Virgie J. Conner of Huntington Beach, Calif.; one son, H.L. "Skip" Mitchell of Grove, Okla., one sister, Ruby M. Martin of Grove, Okla. and one brother, Joe Powers, of Wichita, Kan., ten grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and twenty-two great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2005 at the Turner Funeral Chapel located at 722 N.W. 46th St. in Grove, Okla. Mr. Paul Erickson will officiate. Interment will be in Hickory Grove cemetery.
