Ruth Sisson 1931-2005

SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. - Ruth Sisson, 73 year-old resident of Colcord, 
Okla., died January 11, 2005 at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital, Siloam 
Springs, Ark. Ruth was born on May 8, 1931 in Sid, Okla. She was the 
daughter of Harry Hughes and Viola (Dunlap) Hughes. She was a sales clerk 
and a member of the Church of Christ, Colcord, Okla. She married Marion 
"Bill" Sisson on July 29, 1950 in Bentonville, Ark. Ruth was preceded in 
death by her husband, Bill in 2000.

Survivors include: one son, Tom Sisson and wife, Blanche of Colcord, 
Okla.; one daughter, Vickey Goedecke and George Davis of Colcord, Okla.; 
three grandsons, Randy Goedecke and wife, Seree of Flint Ridge, Okla., 
Kenny Gilliland of Spavinaw, Okla., and Keith Gilliland and wife, Deanne 
of Pryor, Okla.; three granddaughters, Lori Stewart and husband, Tony of 
Kansas, Okla., Amanda Fowler and husband, Steven of Kansas, Okla., Tammy 
Skinner and husband, Bill of Spavinaw, Okla.; nine great grandchildren; 
one brother, Arthur Hughes of Wilder, Idaho; one sister-in-law, Idabel 
Arnold of Colcord, Okla.; a number of nieces and nephews; and a host of 
friends.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2005 at 
Blackfox Cemetery near Kansas, Okla. Mr. Larry Ellis will be officiating.
