All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Butler Cemetery--Delaware County OK The Grove Sun Daily GLENORA GRAY WHITE 1922-2005 GROVE, Okla. - Glendora Gray White, 83 year old Grove resident, passed away Fri., March 11 at the Grove Nursing Center following an extended illness. Glendora was born Feb. 15, 1922 in Delaware County, Oklahoma to John E. England and Melinda (Summerfield) England. She was a graduate of Grove High School in Vinita. She was a full blood member of the Cherokee Nation. Glendora was united in marriage to Roy Gray in June of 1945. He preceded her in death in 1969. She was then married to John White and later divorced. Her parents, one brother, Donald England and one sister, Lillian England also preceded her in death. Surviving family members include: one daughter, Vivian Harris and husband Larry of Grove, four sons; Gene Gray and wife Sonya of Collinsville, Okla., Ron Gray and Gail of Collinsville, Carl Gray and wife Mary of Jay, Jim Gray and wife Edna o f Vinita, two sisters; Wanda Yeatman of Pryor, Okla., Charlene Prince of Oklahoma City, eleven grandchildren; Lisa Dollarhide, Keri Schumann, Cory Gray, Shelly, Carla, Steve, Gina Gray, Lori Sampson, Joni Lafluer, Bo Gray and Glenna Pittzer, and twenty-four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tues., March 15 at the Butler Baptist Church, located south of Grove. Rev. Dolphus Blevins and Rev. John E. Butler will officiate.
