Mr. Weiman filed on a homestead near Needmore in 1909. In 1922 he moved to a farm near Dempsey and in 1939 he moved to Grimes where he resided until his last illness. Mr. Weiman was an honest man who attended strictly to his own affairs. He lived alone and very little was known of his past or his relatives. On the road to the hospital shortly before his death he remarked that when he left the Clinton hospital he would go where it wasn't so lonesome, that when a man lived alone for fifty years he really knew what it was to be lonesome.
