Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel, 2615 Paramount Blvd., with the Rev. Kenneth Smith, pastor of Eastridge Victory Tabernacle, officiating. Mr. Link was born in Hugoton, Kan., and has been a resident of Amarillo for most of his life. He was an Air Force veteran of Vietnam. He was a floor installer for many years in Amarillo before his retirement. He married Shirley Teague on Oct. 4, 1988, in Amarillo. He loved playing and singing country and western music. Survivors include his wife; a son, Robin Link of Amarillo; a daughter, Renee Christener of Abilene; a stepdaughter, Angie Melton of Amarillo; three stepsons, Glen Johnson, Barry Johnson and Chad Johnson, all of Amarillo; his parents, Leslie and Beatrice Link of Amarillo; three brothers, Ray Link of Amarillo, Gerald Link of Channing and Wayne Link of Seiling, Okla.; two sisters, Linda O'Hara and Mary Lewis, both of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
