PAMPA - Lessie Susan Elizabeth Lewis, 84, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2002, in
Garden Grove, Calif.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Bible Church with Dr. Roger Hubbard,
pastor of Lake Tanglewood Community Church, officiating. Burial will be in
Fairview Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Lewis was born July 1, 1917, in Arnett, Okla. She was a longtime
resident of Pampa before moving to Garden Grove two years ago. She was a
member of Bible Church in Pampa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Lelia Broutherton and
Leta Easterling; and a son, Karl Parks.

Survivors include two sons, Clarence Horton of Mound Valley, Kan., and J.V.
Parks of Pampa; a daughter, Alice Hanneman of Garden Grove, Calif.; a sister,
Bertie May Hutchens of Amarillo; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; six
great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
