Bethel Cemetery in Southern Garfield County, Oklahoma. 
Location is on Highway 74 South of Covington, 2mi South of Douglas 
turn off. There is a fence around the cemetery and it has been recently 
mowed and debris (tree limbs) stacked in a corner. Many of the stones 
are unmarked and some of them have toppled off their bases.

marble marker with no writing.

This grave has a “homemade” pipe enclosure and 2 “homemade” markers. 
The one listed above appears to be a slab of marble and a tool was 
used to make connecting “dots” for the letters and numbers. The 
other marker is a small stone with the initials E. J. H. scratched 
into the surface.

without identifying marks.
