THOMAS A graveside service for Wilma E. Thomas, 94, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Alan Seibel will officiate. Arrangements are by Ladusau- Evans Funeral Home. She was born July 10, 1907, in Pinckneyville, Ill., to Charles and Clara Loucks Gregory and died Friday, Feb. 8, 2002, at Highland Park Manor after a period of ill health. On Dec. 31, 1946, she married Albert Thomas in Las Vegas. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband, Albert of the home; one daughter, Lila Kalb of Pinckneyville; one brother, Jim Gregory of Pinckneyville; and two sisters, Verga Watts and Irene Neville, both of Pinckneyville. She was preceded in death by one sister. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DENVER C. HARRINGTON WOODWARD ---The funeral for Denver Carl Harrington, 66, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in First Christian Church. The Rev. Tim Mascarenas will officiate. Burial will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in Kismet Cemetery at Kismet, Kan. Arrangements are by Zwanziger Funeral Home. He was born Nov. 21, 1935, in Liberal, Kan., to Denver P. and Lora Campbell Harrington and died Friday, Feb. 8, 2002, at Woodward Regional Hospital. He attended Liberal public schools, and was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, serving from 1954 to 1958. On Aug. 27, 1963, he married Mary F. Moore at Ulysses, Kan. He worked in the oilfields for several years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of Woodward Moose Lodge No. 452, a Pilgrim Degree which is highest degree of Moose Lodge and a life member of FVW of Liberal, Kan. Surviving are his wife, Mary of Woodward; two sons, Arthur of Carthage, Mo., and Terry of Salina, Kan.; five daughters, Karen Smith, Mary Raylene Johnson and Tracy Chase, all of Woodward, Carla Adams of Dodge City, Kan., and Debbie Hansen of Colorado; 20 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. RICH WOODWARD --- The funeral for Calvin Clarence Rich, 67, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Woodward First Baptist Church Chapel. The Rev. Ewel Vaughn will officiate. Burial will be in the Orion Cemetery. He was born Oct. 24, 1934, in Cleo Springs to Earl and Myrtle Ryel Rich and died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002, in Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, Oklahoma City. He attended school at Cherokee. On July 18, 1954, he married Wanda June Pfleider at Alva. They lived in Anthony, Kan. He worked for Western Gas and Electric as an operator. In 1956, he transferred to Concordia, Kan., then to Chester in 1958 to operate the family dairy and ranch, retiring in 1985. They moved to Woodward. Surviving are his wife, Wanda June of the home; one son, Danny of Blackwell; one daughter, Sherry DiAnn Koehn of Ringwood; three brothers, Dwight of Cherokee, Gerald of Roland Heights, Calif., and Truman of Dalhart, Texas; two sisters, Wilma Phillips of Blackwell and Shirley Ann Rich of Earp, Calif.; five grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister and one son. Burial will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Cemetery, Enid. She was born in Wichita, Kan., and died Friday, Feb. 8, 2002. She was a retired beautician and tailor. Surviving are two sons, Leroy and Ron; five grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ROY A. BIFFLE WOODWARD --- The funeral for Roy Andrew Biffle, 72, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Garden Chapel of Good Samaritan Funeral Service. The Rev. Jason Dirks will officiate. Cremation will follow. He was born June 8, 1929, in Comanche to Roy Charles and Ruby Marie Youngblood Biffle and died Friday, Feb. 8, 2002, at the Veterans Center in Clinton. He graduated from Comanche High School in 1947, then enlisted into the Navy. He served 22 years and attained the rank of chief petty officer. He served during the Korean and Vietnam Wars and had numerous awards and medals including the Purple Heart. He worked at the United States post office in San Diego for eight years and at Lawton for one year. In 1962, he married Aldora Leona Dempster at Las Vegas. They lived in National City, Calif., until moving to Woodward in 1980. He was employed by CRC Wireline Service and was a member of Woodward VFW Post no. 1375, serving as post commander. He also belonged to the Fleet Reserve and Woodward Moose Lodge no. 452. Surviving are his wife, Aldora of Woodward; three daughters, Darla Hurley of Woodward, Debbie McCanless of Fortuna, Calif., and Kathy Andrea of Woodward; four sons, Eugene Biffle of Fairview, Terry Dempster of San Diego, Ricky Dempster of Harrisburg, N.C., and Lyle Dempster of Sanford, Texas; one sister, Dovie Huckabaa of Duncan; five brothers, Robert, Lee and Jerry, all of Duncan, Price of Fort Worth, Texas, and Charles of Woodward; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Campbell, 90, will be 2 p.m. Monday in Central Christian Church. Norman “Shorty” Unruh, chaplain and the Rev. John McLemore will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. He was born June 25, 1911, in Fairview to Robert A. and Edith Morgan Campbell and died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002, at Golden Oaks Nursing Home. He moved to Enid almost 60 years ago and began his business career selling the Saturday Evening Post and Ladies Home Journal around the Square. He was a country club caddy and, with his mother, was custodian of Carnegie Public Library for a time. He graduated from Enid High School in 1929 and worked for the Enid Publishing Co. He enrolled in Civilian Conservation Corps and earned the rank of senior foreman in charge of 200 men. He began work at Liberty Federal in 1934, retiring after 42 years of service in 1976. He married Ruth Jeanette Sparks in 1936. He became a charter member of Junior Chamber of Commerce in 1938 and was named “outstanding young man of the year” in 1942. He volunteered for active duty during World War II and served with the Air Force for four years. He earned the rank of captain and served in the Air Force Reserve. He returned to Liberty Federal in 1946 and was made manager and elected president in 1960. He was a board member, deacon, trustee and treasurer of University Place Christian Church. They transferred membership to help start Hite Boulevard Christian Church. He later joined Central Christian Church and served as deacon, elder and trustee. He was a 32nd degree mason, longtime Shrine member, an adult advisor for DeMolay, an advisor for Enid Family Clinic and a member of American Legion and VFW. He served as president of Waller Junior High School PTA, the Retail Merchant Association, Enid Garfield Public Library Board, Enid Kiwanis Club, Midwestern Savings Conference and Oklahoma Savings League. For many years he was a member of Enid Library board, YMCA board, Community Chest board, Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka, Chamber of Commerce board, Enid Kiwanis Club board, the board of directors for Midwestern Life Insurance Co., Liberty Federal Savings and Loan and Enid Retail Merchant’s Association. Other honors received were Kiwanis Club legion honor, Kiwanis Club distinguished service award, Enid Daily Eagle honor roll, ABWA Boss of the Year in 1957, Community Chest award, Enid’s outstanding citizen by the Salvation Army in 1963 and Jaycees Boss of the Year in 1965. He headed a number of fund drives and was chairman of the first organized fun drive for Enid YMCA, Community Chest Campaign, Phillips University local fun raising in 1966 and was active in the Wally BYAM Caravan Club, serving as corresponding secretary. Surviving are his wife, Ruth of the home; one daughter, Kathy Long of Enid; one son, John of Enid; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Arrangements are by Zwanziger Funeral Home. He was born Feb. 7, 1922, in Quinlan to Marion and Violet Smith Dodge and died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002, at Woodward Regional Hospital. He attended Woodward Public School. On Nov. 22, 1941, he married Yvonne Ellis. He built houses in Woodward and around the area for approximately 40 years. He attended the Nazarene Church. Surviving are his wife, Yvonne of the home; two daughters, Glenda Kay Lewis of Woodward and Donna Lynn Coleman of Lynn Haven, Fla.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother. He was born Dec. 29, 1961, in Pensacola, Fla., to Philip Glimore and Mary Berg Running and died Friday, Feb. 8, 2002, near Perry. He attended Oak Grove Lutheran School and graduated from North Dakota State University. He had been working toward a master’s degree at Oklahoma State University. On June 30, 19900, he married Shelly Goforth at Medford. He was a design engineer for Charles Machine Works Inc. and was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriners and ATO. Surviving are his wife, Shelly; two sons, Bryson and Brayley one daughter, Brooklyn Running of Perry; his mother, Mary Macziewski of Fargo, N.D.; one brother, Keith Ellingson of Minnesota; his father, Arnold Ellingson of Fargo; and grandparents, Glimore Running and Waldo Berg, both of Fargo, and Clarice Ellingson of Minnesota. After high school graduation, she attended Enid Business College. On Dec. 31, 1947, she married William D. “Bill” Swinton in Enid where they lived until 1977. They then moved to Hennessey. In December of 2001, they moved to Oklahoma City. She was a member of University Place Christian Church. Surviving are her husband, Bill of the home; one son, Charles of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Sandy Brown of Springdale, Ark.; one brother, Robert Royer of Blytheville, Ark.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by one brother. He graduated from Pond Creek High School in 1957, then joined the Air Force, serving in Louisiana, Greenland and later at Altus. In 1962, he married Connie Kent at Pond Creek. They lived in Enid. Roff at Duncan. They moved to Enid in 1982. She was an active member of St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church, a senior sales consultant with Mary Kay and an active volunteer for Relay for Life, a fundraiser for cancer research. Surviving are her husband, Robert of the home; two daughters, Christine Froehle of Springfield, Mo., and Lauren Roff of Enid; one son, Norbert C. Steinmetz Hoffman and died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2002, at his home in Buffalo. He attended schools in Billings and graduated from high school at Vallejo, Calif. He served 20 years on active duty in the Navy and 10 years of inactive duty. He was a farmer/stockman. On Nov. 26, 1950, he married Doris Lee Short at Paruna. She graduated from Jordan High School in Long Beach, Calif., then attended two years of college. On July 6, 1940, she married William Fore in Yuma, Ariz. She worked for Douglas Aircraft for 19 y ears, retiring in 1974. The couple moved to Enid from Long Beach in August of 1975. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Surviving are three sons, Ronald and Gerry Lynn, both of Enid and James of Colorado; three daughters, Patricia McPhail of Enid, Nancy Farmer of Norwalk, Calif., and Merri Lynn Creswick of Lakewood, Colo.; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great- grandchildren. Mrs. Jackson was born August 7, 1908, in Chelsea to Robert Dale Mason and Rose Katherine Camp Mason and died Saturday, February 9, 2002, at Great Plains Care Center in Helena. She attended school in Ardmore where she graduated in 1928. On July 26, 1939, she married Ernest Robert Jackson at Ardmore. She retired from the Carter County Assessors office in 1979. She moved to Ringwood to be near her daughter in 1989. She resided at the Great Plains Care Center in Helena for the past three years where she was loved and cared for by all the staff. Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Ann “Liz" Gauley of Ringwood; three granddaughters, Gretchen Haltom, Jennifer McGuire and Haley Gauley, all of Ringwood; three great-grandchildren; one brother, two nieces and four nephews. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband in 1980, three sisters and two brothers. Alphons Edward DeClerck was born August 24, 1916 near Carmen, Oklahoma to Francis Theophil and Methilde Swiney DeClerck and passed away at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, Saturday, February 9, 2002. Ed attended Kansas State University receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors in 1938. He attended law school at Georgetown University where he served on the Georgetown University Law journal and received a Juris Doctor Degree. Mr. DeClerck was admitted to the Bars in the District of Columbia in 1941 and in Oklahoma in 1947. He was also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, and the United States Court of Military Appeals. Mr. DeClerck was a U.S. Magistrate during 1971-1980. He is a past President of the Garfield County Bar Association, and a member of the Garfield County, Oklahoma and American Bar Associations. Ed was on active duty for nearly six years during World War II and entered the occupation of Japan as the Legal and Government Officer for a prefecture. On May 22, 1954 he married the former Harriett Isabella Stuart in Enid. She preceded him in death in 1981. On December 18, 1983 he married Mary Kathryn Anderson in Enid. The couple made their home here. Ed was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, former President of the Enid Lions Club, former Commander of the VFW and was one of the incorporators of the Garfield County Hospice Association. He has served as Scout Master and has been active in a number of Community associations and projects in Enid. Mr. Declerck is survived by his wife, Kay of the home; one son, Tim E. DeClerck and his children, Ashley, Justin and Esther all of Enid; one step-daughter, Kathy and her husband Mitchell Hannah of Enid and his children, Kelsey and Caitlin; one step- son, Andy Anderson and his wife, Kathy and their children, Tyler and Riley all of Stillwater; one sister, Agnes Ball of McLean, VA. Henninger-Allen Funeral Home will act as custodians for the fund. =============================================================================== (FEBRUARY 12, 2002) RICHARD ROBINSON WAYNOKA – A memorial service for Richard Robinson, 71, will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, near Aline. The Rev. Dave Keller will officiate. Military honors will be provided by Fort Sill Honor Guard. At his request the body was cremated. Arrangements are by Lanman Funeral Home, Helena. He was born Sept. 29, 1930, in Fairfax to Ralph and Nannie Garth Bozarth Robinson and died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2002, at Share Convalescent Home in Alva. In 1947, he joined the Army and was first sent to Korea for occupation duty from 1947 to 1949. He was in the 5th Regimental Combat Team, Battery A 555th, GOHQ 25th Infantry Division and was decorated with a Purple Heart, Korean War Service Medal and five Bronze Stars. The family was notified that he had been killed in action and a memorial service was held. However, he was in a hospital in Korea with amnesia. A friend from Pawhuska recognized him and the family was notified of the mistake. In September 1952, he married Jenice Norton at Cushing. He worked in oilfields of eastern Oklahoma and did construction work in Blackwell. He moved from Braman to Waynoka, farming and cattle ranching 18 years for Virgil McBride of Aline and 10 years for Rex Olson of Waynoka. He lived at Carmen Nursing Home until it closed in June 2001, then moved to Share Convalescent Home in Alva. He belonged to Darby Post 106 in Waynoka. Surviving are his children, Nan Reihm of Oklahoma City, Thelma Trammell of Cheyenne, Rick of Fairview, Randy of Carmen, Ray of Braman, Bobbi Bergman and Jovona Robinson, both of Blackwell; two sisters, Bea Stamer of Traer, Iowa, and Nancy Pipes of Bossier City, La.; one brother, Johnny of Bakersfield, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1982, five sisters and four brothers. He was a member of Bokoshe First Baptist Church and was a retired coal and potash miner. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen of the home; one daughter, Sherry L. He was awarded the OCC Medal Berlin and Japan, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Combat Infantry Badge 2nd award, National Defense Service Medal with OLC, Vietnam Service medal, Army commendation Medal with OLC, Bronze Star medal with OLC and other awards. He later worked for 20 years at the Postal Service. On March 15, 1956, he married Helga Hanewald in Elyria, Ohio. Surviving are his wife, Helga of Peoria, Ariz.; one daughter, Kassandra Elledge of Phoenix; one brother, James of Ardmore; five sisters, Ruth Pitts, Edna Brown and Jackie Breihan, all of Enid; Mary Ann Shelton of Oklahoma City and Wilma Wilkins of Sun City; and four grandchildren. She also was a homemaker, mother, seamstress and member of Canton Chamber of Commerce. She was one of the original founders of Canton Lake Walleye rodeo and was a member of the First Christian Church. In 1982, she married R. W. “Wick” Wickware. Surviving are three sons, Richard of Kingswood, Ronald of Los Angeles, and John Hawkins of Calumet; one stepdaughter, Donna Jacks of Watonga; three stepsons, Bill Wickware and Tom Wickware, both of Watonga, and Mike Wickware of Guymon; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Murphy Veterans Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Jim was born in Yukon, Oklahoma to Clark and DeeDie McKinney on January 27, 1940. He will always be remembered as a devoted father. From 1982 to 1998, they lived in Piedmont, then in Stonewall from 1998-2001, moving to Enid in March 2001. He worked for the civil service in the office of personnel management. He later worked for the Federal Aviation Administration, retiring in 1999. He was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church and a volunteer at St. Mary’s Regional medical Center, driving the St. Mobile. He was born March 27, 1929, in Enid to Taylor and Mable Carter Williamson and died Monday, Feb. 11, 2002. He started school in Phoenix, moving to Enid, where he attended Booker T. Washington School. He attended Kansas Vocational School in Topeka, Kan., in 1949. He enlisted into the Army and served from Nov. 14, 1950, until September 1952 with the 5th Regimental Combat Team, Camp Roberts, Calif. He served in Korea during the Korean conflict with the 5th RCT in communications. He graduated from Moler Barber School in 1954 at Kansas City, Mo., where he was a barber until 1980. He moved to Oklahoma City and worked at W.W. Steel and Tinker Air Force Base, retiring from Seagate on Jan. 7, 2000. He was a member of the Crescent Club, St. Stephen’s Church in Enid and Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church. In December of 1954, he married Grace Perkins. She preceded him in death. On Aug. 1, 1990, he married Eluline Harvey S tills. Surviving are his wife, Eluline of the home; two daughters, grace Louise of Irving, Texas, and LaPri Stills-Young of Flint, Mich.; one son, LaPrince Stills of Flint; one sister, Birdie Marie Holmes of Oklahoma City; and one grandson. He enlisted in the Navy Nov. 27, 1951, and was discharged in October 1955. He received the Purple Heart on Nov. 27, 1953, off the coast of Korea off Wanson Harbor while aboard the destroyer U.S.S. Rowan. He became sales manager for Janzen automobile in 1975, where he worked for eight years. In 1983, he went to Fred Jones Buick, and in 1984 he worked for Stuart Pontiac as sales manager. In 1986, he worked for Northcutt Chevrolet, and for a period of time he was a firefighter at Vance AFB. He was a 50-year member of the VFW and a member of the American Legion Post No. 4. He married Margaret “Maggie” Hess in May, 1984, in Enid. He was a member of Davis Park Christian Church. She married Angus T. Roberts in 1941. Following a divorce, she married Gilbert Thomas of El Reno in 1951. They moved to the Guymon area where they lived for more than 30 years. They later moved to Enid, following his retirement. She stayed in the Enid and Oklahoma City area until shortly before her death. Surviving are one son, James A. Ruth was born November 11, 1909 at Gibbon near Manchester, OK to Daniel Albert and Harriett Iantha Patton Alley and passed away February 9, 2002, in Sun City, AZ. Ruth attended and graduated from Pond Creek High School in June of 1926. After high school Ruth attended Normal School in Alva, Oklahoma. During the summer following her graduation from high school, she received a teacher credential. She taught grades 1-3 at the Hawley, OK School. On June 8, 1929 she married Clayton Monroe Yoder. They made their home in Blackwell, OK. Ruth was baptized into the Rosedale Church of Christ near Manchester, OK. Rut h studied cosmetology by correspondence. She passed the state of Oklahoma test and became a licensed beautician. They lived in Stillwater, Kingfisher and moved to Enid in 1944. Clayton preceded her in death April 4, 1968. Ruth became a Stanley Home Product dealer and worker for 25 years. Ruth married Forest Flora on December 1, 1977 and he preceded her in death March 12, 1983. Ruth’s sister suffered a disabling stroke in 1971. At that time Ruth became caregiver for her sister, Mattie and her husband Earl, and her sister Grace. In 1994 Ruth suffered a serious down turn in health which finally resulted in her passing. Ruth is survived by two children, Sandra Ruth Hopkins and her husband Loren of Durango, CO., son Alan Yoder of Foster City, CA; seven grandchildren, Lorie Rohr, Robin Goodnaugh, Jeffre Hopkins, Matt Yoder, Heidi Yoder, David Yoder and Luke Yoder; three great grandchildren, Holly Hopkins, William and Michael Goodnaugh. She is preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, Willie, Sam, Charles, John, Joe, Jess, and Dwight; four sisters, Nellie, Mattie, Grace and Mary; her husbands, Clayton and Forest. Gary Lombard will officiate. Arrangements are by Resthaven Funeral Home of Moore. She was born Jan. 7, 1951, in Cashion to Rex and Phyllis Moser and died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, in Moore. On Sept. 11, 1971, she married George Countryman. She was an active member of the Girl Scouts for 23 years leading two singing groups, the Notables and the Half Notes. She started her nursing career by earning her LPN in 1970, later attaining her bachelor’s in nursing, an associate’s degree in psychology and in 1991 received a master’s in human relations. Se worked as a nurse for 30 years in several hospitals, including Enid and the Oklahoma City area. She received a citation from Midwest Regional Hospital for saving a patient’s life. She was head nurse on the psych unit at Midwest Regional Hospital for the past four years. Surviving are her husband, George; three daughter, Stephanie, Tamara, and Amber; and three grandsons, all of Moore; three sisters, Cheryl Overstreet, Kremlin, Beverly Trahan, Louisiana and Linda Corr of Enid. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. She was born Sept. 1, 1908, in Amorita to Robert Emery Wilson and Melissa Adeline Cole Wilson and died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, at Leedey Nursing Center, Leedey. She grew up in the Rosston community. Following her high school graduation, she attended Northwestern State University at Alva and Panhandle A & M. She married Clarence A. Robertson April 20, 1930. She taught school in Harper County for two years and later went to work at the Fairview Department of Human Services for 10 years. In July 1952, she married Alfred G. Gray. They made their home in Weatherford. She became the director of Department of Human Services in many counties, retiring in 1973. She was a member of Central Christian Church of Fairview and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Pink Ladies. Surviving are three daughters, Iris Kopf of Longdale, Avis Barten of Leedey, and Shirley Womack of Olla, Wash.; two step-daughters, Mary Virginia Masten of Odessa, Texas, and Helen Gayle Armstrong of Mansfield, Texas; one sister, Gladys Ortiz of Mulberry, Ark.; two brothers, Edward Wilson of Alva, and Richard “Dick” Wilson of Woodward; 22 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and many great-great- grandchildren. He was born Dec. 19, 1935, in Enid to George and Lela Watson and died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2002, in Holbrook, Ariz. He attended Enid schools, graduating Enid High School in 1954. Following high school, he enlisted in the Air Force, serving four years. After his discharge, he worked with Frontier, Central and Delta Airlines. California has been home for the past 35 years. While living in Enid, he was a member of Davis Park Christian Church. Surviving are two brothers, Larry Watson of Ponca City, and George Watson of Tempe, Ariz; and one sister, Kay Watson Huffer of Muskogee. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JESSIE HASKINS DERBY, KAN. - The funeral for Jessie Haskins, 87, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Bethel Hawley Baptist Church. She was born Jan. 21, 1915, at Douglas to John William and Cora Della Hobbs Apple and died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, at Westview Manor in Derby. She graduated from Douglas High School in 1933, as valedictorian of her class. She married Washington Haskins March 6, 1935, in Clayton, N.M. They had been married 66 years. They lived on a farm west of Hawley and operated the filling station for his dad. In 1948, they moved to Derby. In May 2001, they moved to Westview Manor. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Surviving are two sons, John Haskins of Derby, and Earl Haskins of Haysville, Kan.; one daughter, Willa Del Cole of Clay Center, Kan.; one sister, Nellie Valentine Seibel; 15 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Washington, a daughter, a grandson, two brothers and one sister. He was born Nov. 29, 1946, at McAlester to Lester B. and Patricia Nolan Cash and died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2002, at his home following a battle with cancer. He attended school at Canton and graduated from Dale High School in 1965. He attended college at East Central State University and received a masters degree in education. Following his education, he enlisted in the Air Force, stationed in Turkey. He married Anna Jones Aug. 18, 1976, at Ft. Worth, Texas. They have lived in the Ada, Verden, Holdenville and Wetumka communities and moved to the Canton community in 1994 where they owned and operated the Circle C restaurant and quick stop. He sold the business and retired in 1998. He was baptized into the Baptist Church during his high school years. Surviving are his wife, Anna of the home; one son, Barry Cash of Muskogee; one daughter, Carla Loeffelholz of Oklahoma City; his step-mother, Melba Cash of Canton; one brother, Rick Cash of Ada; one sister, Carol Large of Franklin, Tenn.; and one grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter. She was born March 29, 1922, in Marshall, Texas, to Charles Earl and Caroline Jones Covey and died Wednesday, Feb. 113, 2002, at Highland Park Manor in Enid. She graduated from El Dorado, Ark. High School in 1940. She attended Southeastern College in Durant for one year. She joined the Womens’ Army Corps during World War II and was stationed at Hill Field In Ogden, Utah, and also Butte, Mont. She was discharged at Indian Town Gap, Pa., where she married William F. Kuchinsky Dec. 15, 1945. They moved to Hawaii, where they lived until moving to Enid in 1949. In 1950, they moved to Waukomis. In 1961, they moved to Enid. She worked at Marquise Studio, the Enid News & Eagle, Evans Drug and for a short time at the commissary at Vance Air Force Base. She moved to Wichita Falls, Texas, in 1971, before moving back to El Dorado in 1972 to help take care of her mother. She moved back to Enid in 1994 to be near family. She moved to The Living Center in 1998 and to Highland Park Manor in December. Surviving are two sons, Rexton E. Kuchinsky and Ivan C. Kuchinsky, both of Enid; two grandchildren and one step-great-grandson. He was born Oct. 18, 1906, in Woodward to Truman Gabriel and Willa May Stout Netherton and died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, at St. Mary’s Regional medical Center. He grew up in Alva and Oklahoma City and attended the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma Baptist University. He married Rebecca Mae McCuan July 1, 1927. He went to work for Oklahoma Gas & Electric April 21, 1930, in Oklahoma City, moving to Enid in 1937. He retired from OG&E in 1971, after 40 years of service. She died in February 1971. He later married Pearl Virginia Bruce March 18, 1972. He was a member of First Baptist Church, the Enid Amateur Radio Operators Club and the Enid Senior Center. He was a square dance caller in Oklahoma and Kansas and was host and caller for the Saturday Night Square Dance on KGEO in the 1950’s. He sang with the RSVP Band for the last 10 years, playing at nursing homes and the Senior Center. Surviving are his wife, Pearl of Golden Oaks Village; his son Truman William Netherton of Burlington, Mass.; a daughter, Janet Kay Churn of Princeton Junction, J.J.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rebecca, and three brothers. She grew up and attended school in Cheyenne Valley, graduating from Cheyenne Valley High School. She attended Northwestern College at Alva. She married Cecil Junior Thompson April 17, 1947, in Alva. They made their home in Wichita, where she farmed and harvested with her husband. They moved to Alva where she worked for Ideal Supermarket for many years. In 1983, they moved to Cheyenne Valley. She began working at the Fairview Fellowship Home as a nurse’s aide. In 1997, they moved to Aline. He died in April 1998, after 51 years of marriage. She continued to live in Aline until her death. She was active in both the Cheyenne Valley and the Aline Methodist Churches. Surviving are one son, Timothy Thompson of Richmond, Va.; three daughters, Beverly Tatro Allen of Derby, Kan., Marquitta Howard of Waynoka, and Tona Jebbia of Dallas; five brothers, Bud Noble of Mooreland, Charles Noble of Yale, Boyd Noble of Waynoka, Jim Noble of Alva, and Allen Noble of Fairview; three sisters, Grace Stambaugh of Chester, Rosalie Brakey of Westville, and Lois Murdock of Waynoka; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil, and one sister.
