Service pending with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. June Franks A celebration of service for June Frank, 94, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Central Christian Church. The Revs. John McLemore and Kevin Arenssman will officiate. Private burial was before the celebration. Arrangements are by Henninger-Allen-Funeral Home. She was born June 9, 1908, in West Virginia to James and Eliza Kretzer Meade and died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002, at her home in Enid. At the age of two, she moved with family to Enid where she attended school. She then attended Wesleyan College in Miltonville, Kan., and later moved to Oklahoma City. She married Joe Franks April 5, 1931. They lived in Enid and owned Franks Machine Co. They sold the business to Koehring Co. Since 1931, she had been a member of Central Christian Church and was active in Christian Women's Fellowship. She served on the board of Junior Welfare League and YMCA and was a member of Weed and Seed Garden Club and Rotary Annes. Surviving are two daughters, Shirley Anne Nelson and Mary Jane Lackey, both of Enid; three brothers, the Rev. Kenneth Meade of Olatha, Kan., Clifford Meade of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Charles Meade of Glenwood, Ariz; eight granchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, one sister and three brothers. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love. Dorothy M. Cooper Fairfax - The funeral for Dorothy M. Cooper, 90, will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in First Osage Baptist Church. The Rev. Bob Glasgow will officiate. Burial will be in Fairfax Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sanders Funeral Service, Kingfisher. She was born Feb. 23, 1912, in Fairfax, to Arthur and Texie Witson Walworth and died Sunday, Augu. 4, 2002 at Cimarron Nursing Ceneter in Kingfisher. She married Tobie Joe Thomas on Aug. 24, 1927. They were married 55 years before his death. She married Glenn Cooper. They were married 20 years before his death. Surviving are one daughter, Texie Lane of Kingfisher; two sons, Ernest D. Thomas of Ponca City and Barnie Dewayne Thomas of Deep Water, Mo.; one sister, Margie Sanders of Huntsville, Ark.; 24 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons and one daughter. Memorials may be made to the church. Irven A. Ogden Jr. The funeral service for Irven A. Ogden Jr., age 67, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2002, at Willow View United Methodist Church, 3525 W. Purdue, with the Revs. Rik Marion and John McLemore officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be this evening from 7-9 p.m. at the family's home. Arrangements are by Henninger-Allen Funeral home. He was born February 10, 1935 to I.A. and Betty Howland Odgen and died Friday August 2, 2002. Irv was married to Marilyn William on July 21, 1962, and they just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. The couple raised their family of four children in Enid. Their children are Irven A. Ogden III, his wife Dee Dee and their children, Kayla Ann and Hadley Kix of Fairview; Abbi Gale of Enid; Janna Kay of Enid and William Leon (Bill) of Stillwater. Irv graduated from Enid High School in 1953. He was active in the Garfield County 4-H livestock program showing hogs and showed in the American Royal Livestock Show in high school. He attended Oklahoma A&M College from 1953 to 1957. He served as an officer in Block nd Bridle Club, and worked at the school's livestock facilities. He graduated in May 1957 with a bachelors degree in animal husbandry. He served the US Army from 1957 to 1959 at Fort Riley, Kansas serving in the dental detachment. He served in the US Air Force Reserves until 1964. Irv sold various brands of farm implements in and around the Enid area. He worked at Northern Equipment from 1969 until 1980. He established Irv's Construction 1980 and continued to work and invest in the oil industry throughout his life. He was active in the Enid High Class of 1953 Reunion Committee, Enid Sunrise Loins Club, Boy Scouts, Masonic Lodge 501, the American Legion, the Oklahoma State University Alumni Association, a life-time member of the OSU Foundation, a member of Central Christian Church and attended Willow View United Methodist Church. In the early 1960's he was honored by the Garfield County 4-H and named alumni of the year for his work with farm safety classes. He leaves his family; a brother, Thomas Ogden of Warrensburg, MO; cousin, Sue Ogden and a host of loving extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice with Henninger- Allen Funeral Home serving as custodian of the fund. Glen D. Catlett The funeral for Glen D. Catlett, 62, will be today, August 5, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. in the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Fleig officiating. The burial will be at Tate Mountain, Wewoka at 4 p.m. He was born April 14, 1940 to Luther and Birtie Self Catlett in Wewoka and died Aug. 1,2 002 at St. Mary's Hospital, Enid. Glen loved to talk to people. He was a friend to everyone who knew him. As a young adult, he worked in the M&P and Jackson grocery stores in Wewoka. In the sixties, Glen worked in several oilfields across the state of Oklahoma until 1967, at which time he went to work at Vance Air Force Base for Serve-Air and later for Northrop working several jobs from mechanic's helper to aircraft inspector until 1997, when he retired due to ill health. Glen is survived by his wife, Nellie, whom he married on March 12, 1982. He is also survived by one sister, Leoma Davidson and one sister-in-law, Betty Catlett of Wewoka; one son, Craig of Tulsa; two step-sons; David and Jeff Tidball and two step-daughters; Sonya Wichert and Gwen Tidball; eight grandchildren; Pamela, Amanda and Job Catlett of Disney, OK; Kristi, Brittany and Brandon Wichert; Kyle Harper and Skye Tidball of Enid. Glen was preceded in death by one son, Christopher, his parents and two brothers; Doyle and Hoyt Catlett. Rose Wells A memorial graveside service for Rose Thornburg Wells will be noon today in Karoma Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
