The Rev. Wade Burleson will officiate. Burial will be in Karoma Cemetery. Arrangements are by Henning-Allen Funeral Home. She was born Oct. 5, 1916, near Goltry to John B. and Lena Johnson and died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002, at Intergris Bass Baptist Health Center. She attended Goltry schools and moved to Enid as a young woman. She worked for 20 years as board marker and reporter for Ullman & Co. brokerage firm. She later was elevator operator at American Standard Life Center South for 24 1/2 years. She retired Sept. 30, 1994. She was a long-time member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and taught four year old Sunday School. Surviving are three sisters, Mamie Gose, Mildred Wright and Edna Koehn, all of Enid. Memorial may be made through the funeral home to Emmanuel Christian School. Howard C. Kurth ALVA - The funeral for Howard Calvin Kurth, 85, will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Zion Lutheran Church. Joel Picard, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements are by Marshall Funeral Home. He was born March 1, 1917, in Bellefont, Kan., to Edward Lewis and Mollie Henning Kurth and died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002, in Share Medical Center, Alva. He attended school in Offerle, Kan., graduating in 1935. On July 16, 1938, he married Dorothy Mae Johnson at Bellefont. They lived in several places until he entered the Army in 1944. After his discharge they moved to Alva. He worked as an auto body repairman for serval years, then owned K & K Body Works for more than 20 years. After retirement, he continued to rebuild antique cars and tractors. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Surviving are one son; Leslie of Angleton, Texas; five sisters, Loretta Polson of Kinsley, Kan., Beatrice Wheatley of Cambridge, Ohio, Ivalene Pippen of Tulsa, Geneva Peck of Wichita, Kan., and Eulalia Roberts of Purcell; and one grandson. He was preced in death by his wife on Jan. 15, 2002. Memorials may be made4 through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Diabetes Divisiion, Alva Senior Citizen's Center or charity of donor's choice. Rosa H. Sattelmeier The funeral for Rosa Hulda Sattelmeier, 88, will be 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The Rev. Kenneth Wade will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. She was born Sept. 25, 1913, near Kremlin to John and Anna Margaret Kohn Wuerflein and died Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002, at The Living Center. On Oct. 28, 1955 she married Edmund Sattelmeier. They lived in Enid. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She worked as a housekeeper for various families. Surviving are one daughter, Barbara Chastain of Enid; one sister, Marie Meyer of Kremlin; and two grandsons. She was preceded in death by her husband and 10 brothers and sisters. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the church. Donald E. Holt Holt, Donald E., 78, Enid.
