BLAKLEY HENNESSEY - The funeral for Emma Grace Blakley, 82, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church. The Revs. Don Rogers and Terry Bunch will officiate. Burial will be in Lyon Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home. She was born Oct. 10, 1919, to Joseph V. and Pearl Fuhrmann Richards and died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at Hennessey Care Center. She graduated from Hennessey High School in 1937, then attended Hills Business College. She married E.V Blakley in 1940. She farmed and ranched most of her life and was a secretary at Hennessey Public Schools for 24 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and taught Sunday school classes for many years. Surviving are one son, Michael of Hennessey; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters. Memorials may be made through the church or funeral home to the Baptist Children's Homes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HAZEL M. HUSTON OKEENE - The funeral for Hazel Marie Huston, 74, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Homestead Bible Church. Burial will be in Homestead Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wilkinson Mortuary. She was born May 7, 1927, at Longdale to Leroy and Katherine Shellenberger Pester and died Saturday, Dec. 1,2001. She had been a resident of Okeene since 1972 and worked at Canton and Fairview drugstores. She also sold Avon. She attended Longdale schools and was a member of Homestead Bible Church. On June 8, 1944, she married William Huston. Surviving are one son, Raymond of Okeene; two daughters, Shirley Day of Bethany and Linda Nichols of Enid; three sisters, Francis Chain and Carol Tucker, both of Fairview, and Beatrice Ellsworth of Woodward; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, one sister and one grandson. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TWILA JO EVERETT BUFFALO - A graveside service for Twila Jo Everett, 67, will be 4 p.m. Tuesday in Colorado City Cemetery, Colorado City, Texas. Royce Clay, pastor, will officiate. Arrangements are by Myatt Funeral Home. She was born Oct. 26, 1934, in San Angelo, Texas, to Elzie and Odie Hardegree Rhea and died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at Harper County Community Hospital in Buffalo. She graduated from Colorado City High School. On March 26, 1951, she married James Burnie Everett in Colorado City. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving are one son, Phillip of Arlington, Texas; one daughter, Linda K. Yauk of Buffalo; two brothers, Bobby Rhea. of Colorado City and Robert Rhea of Corpus Christi, Texas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Steve Williams and Mr. Everett Ohls officiating. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Feme was born December 28, 1917, in Garber, OK to Andrew Joe and Cora Siegle Edwards and died late Friday, November 30, 2001 at the Greenrier Nursing Home. She was raised in Marshall where she attended and graduated from Marshall High School in 1935. She attended and graduated from Enid Business College in 1939 and spent 1 1/2 years at Oklahoma Baptist University. Ferne worked for various non-profit organizations in Oklahoma, Louisiana and Dallas, TX as a secretary for 39 years retiring on August 31, 1981. She moved to Enid in 1981 from Dallas, TX. Ferne was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class, AARP, the Treasure Doll Club of Oklahoma, and was active in several clubs in Enid. She is survived by one brother Bill and his wife Marjorie Edwards of Enid; three sisters, Ethel Edwards and Janiece Lott, both of Enid, and Betty Clark of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Two brothers Boyd and Melvin, and one sioster Bonnie Beeley, preceded her in death. Memorials may be made to the Baptist Coop Association with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians. Walter Fitzsimons officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home. She was born to Edward and Nina Brubaker Showalter on January 11, 1916, in Thomas, and died Thursday, November 29, 2001, at St. Mary's Hospital in Enid. Lovena grew up in Thomas and graduated from Thomas High School. On July 6, 1935, she married Theodore "Ted" Foust in Thomas. They later moved to Garber in 1945, and then to Enid in 1951, where she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Enid Community Church of the Brethren. She is survived by three daughters, Reta Gragg and husband Paul, JoAnn Gragg and husband Jerry, all of Enid, and Carolyn "Susie" Ott and husband David of Kremlin; one daughter-in-law, Kathy Foust of Enid; three sisters, Fern Davidson, Ella Jones and Verda Potter, all of California; one brother Charles Showalter of Casper, Wyoming; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted; one son, Merle Foust; three brothers, Orville, Edward and Melvin Showalter; and one sister, Rhio Richlor.
