GOUCHER JR. A graveside service for William J. "Bill" Goucher Jr., 39, will be 2 p.m. today in Enid Cemetery. The Rev. Stanley Jenkins will officiate. Visitation will be 1 p.m. today at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home with funeral procession to follow. He was born June 20, 1962, in Enid to William J. Sr. and Florence Fluman Goucher and died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. He graduated from Enid High School and earned a certification as a machinist from Autry Vocational Technical School in 1980. He then worked for SpeedStar. In the late 1980s, he worked as a machinist for various companies. He later took up painting and metal working. Surviving are his mother, Florence Goucher of Enid; and one sister, Cathy Todd of Enid. He was preceded in death by his father. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Diabetes Division. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- BETTY JEAN KRAFT CHEROKEE - The funeral for Betty Jean Kraft, 67, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in First Christian Church. Dr. Ron Hansen will officiate. Burial will be in Alva Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are by Fisher Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. She was born Dec. 22, 1933, in Alva to Charles J. and Wanda E. Wadkins Shalloup and died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, at Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita, Kan. On Aug. 30, 1952. she married Richard Kraft at Alva. She was office manager for Cherokee Locker and was a homemaker. She had lived in Cherokee since 1963 and was a member of Cherokee First Christian Church. Surviving are her husband, Dick; two sons, Charles of Cherokee and Randnall of Wichita, Kan.; her mother, Wanda Shalloup of Cherokee; and one grandson. She was preceded in death by her father and one sister. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Cherokee Library. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RUTH C. UBELAKER SOUTH HAVEN, Kan. Recitation of Rosary for Ruth C. Ubelaker, 88, will be 7 p.m. Tuesday in St. Martin's Catholic Church at Caldwell, Kan. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church. The Rev. Josaphat Soe Lwin will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, South Haven. Arrangements are by Elliott- Schaeffer Mortuary. She was born Aug. 16, 1913, in Silo am Springs, Ark., to James Clinton and Cora Blanche Malsby Prophet and died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, at Riverview Manor in Oxford, Kan. On Feb. 3, 1948, she manied Dr. E.J. Ubelaker at Caldwell. She was a homemaker. Surviving are two sons, Dennis Rickard and John Ubelaker, both of Wellington, Kan.; two daughters, Mary Devore of Derby, Kan., and Martha Strickland of South Haven; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Frutea on December 4, 2001, and died December 4, 2001, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. He is survived by his mother Laretta, his father Elisa; his grandmother, Ann Davis and grandfather Quinn Seal; an aunt, Becky Davis, and an uncle, Chris Davis. Wager, 93, former Enid resident, will be Tuesday, December 11, at 10:00 a.m. in the Garriott Road Church of Christ, Jerry Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in DeBolt Cemetery at Arnett, OK at 2:30 p.m. under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. She was born to James A. Farris and Virginia I. (Shelton) Farris January 7, 1908, in Arnett, OK, and died December 4, 2001, in the Scottsdale Health Center Scottsdale, Arizona. She was married to John L. Wager on February 5, 1927, and the couple had two daughters Virginia and Colletta. Minnie worked many years at Lamberts downtown and was a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Muson of Phoenix, Arizona; her six grandchildren, John R. Ham, Pamela A. General, Rodney O. Munson, Bana Vincent, Mike Perry and Kim Bullis; one sister, Georgia Loree Giles of Vinita, OK; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1975, one daughter Colletta Perry, two brothers and four sisters.
