REIMER The funeral for Barney Joel Reimer, 80, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Emmanuel Baptist, Church. Wade Burleson, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funerla Home. Visitation will be 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. He was born Aug. 11, 1921, in Washita County, near Corn, to John F. and Anna M. Flaming Reimer and died Monday, Dec. 17, 2001, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center. He graduated from Corn High School in 1939 and worked in a garage. He entered the Army Air Corps in 1942 and served for more than three years. He also served during the Korean War. On Feb. 10, 1945, he married Martha Louise Smith in Enid. She died in 1969. He married Korene Porter on Dec. 26, 1972, in Madill. He worked at Vance Air Force Base, retiring in 1985. He then worked for NAPA Auto Parts. He also worked for the election board. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Enid Garden Club and Garfield Genealogy Society and a life member of American Legion and National Rifle Association. Surviving are his wife, Korene of the home; two daughters, Elaine Zook of Waukomis and Burns Davis of Lincoln, Neb.; three sons, Kory of Mangum, Brady of Lone Grove and Mike of Erick; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Emmanuel Christian School, RSVP or Enid Main Street. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KEITH FRITSCH YUKON - The funeral for Keith Fritsch, 61, will be 10 a.m. today in Mercer-Adams Funeral Service Chapel, Bethany. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery. He was born Sept. 25, 1940, in Alva to Harvey and Leona Fritsch and died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001. He was raised in Waynoka and moved with his family in 1955 to Amarillo, Texas. He married Rita Lawhon. They moved to Oklahoma City in 1971. He was a salesman for 34 years for Cummins Southern Plains. Surviving are his wife, Rita; one daughter, Kathy Fritsch of Oklahoma City; one son, Tony of Bethany; one sister, Lanna Hatton of Amarillo; one brother, David of Mesquite, Texas; and two grandchildren. Memorials may be made to American Lung Association. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- LILLIE MAE JOHNSON DRUMRIGHT - The funeral for Lillie Mae Johnson, 87, will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Broadway Church of Christ. She was born Dec. 26, 1913, in Silver City to James Clarence Davidson and Mary Alice Green Davidson and died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001, at the Drumright Memorial Hospital. She grew up in the Silver City area and graduated from Oilton High School. In 1948, she married Earl Wilbur Johnson. During World War II, she worked as an aircraft inspector at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City. The couple moved to California in 1950 and returned to Oklahoma in 1956. They lived in the Buckeye area, then in Drumright. She worked in retail sales and sold Avon and Sara Coventry products. She was a member of Broadway Church of Christ in Drumright. Surviving are three sons, Harold of Enid, Terry of Bonham, Texas, and Gary of Broken Arrow; one daughter, Gloria Ryan of San Diego; one brother, John Davidson of Midland, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1996, two brothers and one sister. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CHARLES E. SCHAFNITT YUKON - A memorial service for Charles Eugene Schafnitt, 84, will be observed at a later date. Arrangements are by Smith & Turner Mortuary. He was born May 26, 1917, in Monett, Mo., to George Arthur and Carrie Dell Schafnitt and died Monday, Dec. 17, 2001, in Oklahoma City. He moved with the family to Enid in 1925. He joined the Army Corps of Engineer, serving in the European Theater during World War II from 1942-45. He then worked for the Frisco Railroad in Enid for 43 years, retiring in 1979 as yardmaster. He and his wife, Vera, then moved to Yukon. He was Master Mason with Enid Masonic Lodge AM&FM No. 80, and a pen and ink and watercolor artist. Surviving are his wife, Vera; two sons; four daughters; one brother; and 11 grandchildren. "WAYNE" LEE A graveside service for E.W. "Wayne" Lee, 79, will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Garden of Meditation at Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Carrell Still will officiate. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. He was born Dec. 5, 1922, in Comanche, Texas, to Charlie and Helan Lee and died Monday, Dec. 17, 2001, at his home in Enid. He joined the Army Air Corps in 1942 and served during World War II in England, Belgium, Holland, France and Germany. He was discharged in 1946. On July 9, 1984, he married Mona Schofield in Texas. He worked for several independent engineering companies as a telephone engineer in Texas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma with Fanning Engineering Inc., retiring in 1981. Surviving are his wife, Mona of the home; four sons, Edwin of Pittsburgh, Kan., Ronnie of Amarillo, Texas, and Robert and David, both of Enid: nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DOLORES WOOLARD GARLAND, Texas - A memorial service for Dolores Woolard. 67, a former Enid resident, will be 2 p.m. today at Northrich Baptist Church in Richardson, Texas. The Rev. Joe Baron officiated. Arrangements are by Williams Funeral Directors. She was born Aug. 18, 1934, and died Friday, Dec. 14, 2001. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are one son, Ricky; two daughters, Rhonda Huggins and Roxanne Gail Hodge; one brother, Russell Dean Schwandt; one sister, Norma Kurss; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rupert Gene Woolard; two sons and one daughter. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JACK L. SELTENREICH The funeral for Jack Leonard Seltenreich, 71, will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. Steve Williams, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. He was born Jan. 14, 1930, in Enid to John and Mary Larkey Seltenreich and died Monday, Dec. 17, 2001, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center. He graduated from Enid High School in 1948 and served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged on April 29, 1956. On April 23, 1954, he married Veta L. Drumm. The couple lived in Oceanside, Calif., moving to Enid in 1956. He worked as a paint contractor for approximately 45 years and worked for Northrop starting May 1985 and retiring in May 1995. He coached girls' and women's softball teams for years and was best known with Enid Roadrunners. He was inducted into Oklahoma ASA Hall of Fame as a coach in 1992. Surviving are his wife, Veta; two daughters, Kathy Conway and Trisha Lawson; two sons, Allen and Greg; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandson. DAVISON CANTON - A memorial service for V.V. "Dave" Davison, 87, will be 2 p.m. Friday in First Christian Church. Steve Driskill will officiate. Burial will be in Canton Cemetery. Arrangements are by Haigler Funeral Home. He was born Dec. 28, 1913, in Kiowa to William and Susan Hines Davison and died Tuesday, Dec. 18,2001, at Sedgwick, Kan. He served in the Army during World War II and was discharged in 1941. He married Alice Marie Holder Dec. 7, 1940, in Oklahoma City. They lived in Great Bend, Kan., and Wichita, Kan., for many years, and in Perryton, Texas. He worked for Mountain Iron and Supply Co. until retirement. In 1981, the couple moved to Canton. He was an active member of Canton Lions Club and a member of Canton Christian Church. He lived in Sedgwick Health Care Center at Sedgwick, Kan., for the past 18 months. Surviving are one daughter, Vesta Hornbeck of Keene, N.H.; three sons, Bill of the United Kingdom, Larry of Derby, Kan., and Dwight of Sedgwick; many brothers and sisters; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MARY F. The Reverend Gene Burnham will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. Shirley was born on March 9, 1930 in Tecumseh, Nebraska to George and Bessie (Boatman) Hurlbutt and died December 17, 2001 in her home. She graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1948. In February of 1950, she married James J. Carman. They established their home and business in Talihina, Oklahoma until 1969. Shirley began her health care profession with Highland Park Manor and retired after 16 years of service with the Enid State School in July 1989. Following her faith, she enjoyed working with the children in her church nursery. In July 1990, Shirley made her home at Meadows Point Apartments and leaves behind many friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter-in-law. She is survived by her son and daughters, Jim and Dixie Carman of Wichita, Kansas, Susan and Martin McDowell of Enid, Shelly and Mike Conrady of Wakita, Oklahoma, and Sandy Winfield of Enid; five grandchildren; one great- granddaughter; one brother and his wife, Jack and Barbara Hurlbutt of Enid; one sister and her husband, Artus and Joe Rogers of Enid; a cousin, Ruby Beck of Enid; nieces, nephews, and many friends.
