Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Randy Land, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Cotton Center, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Bond was born in Honeygrove and had lived in Pampa since 1937. She graduated in 1932 from Plainview High School and in 1933 from Lipperts Business School, Plainview. She was a Methodist. She married Pete Bond in 1939 in Enid, Okla. They were the owners and operators of Pete Bond Meat Processing. He died in 1969. Survivors include three daughters, Judy Hawkins of Cedar Hill, Honey Kemph of Groom and Dixie Danner of Pampa; three sons, Jerry Dobbs of Pampa, Danny Bond of Sun Valley, Nev., and Beau Bond of Seattle; four sisters, Mae Moon of Ballinger, Romi Li Huskey of Duncanville, Evelynn Couch of Plainview and Gwenelle Carter of Newport Beach, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Hospice of the Panhandle or Meals on Wheels.
