PETE BRADFORD WATONGA --- The funeral for Leslie L. Pete Bradford, 90, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Christian Church. The Revs. Doyle Warren and Roger Smelser will officiate. Burial will follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wilkinson Mortuary. He was born Dec. 26, 1911, at Fay to Daniel and Carrie Morlan Bradford and died Thursday Feb. 21, 2002. He had been a resident of the Watonga community all of his life. He attended school at Mt. Pleasant for 5 ½ years, graduating from Amorita. He was a farmer and a butane truck driver and a member of the Presbyterian Church. He later became a member of the Christian Church. He married Leta Gilmore June 24, 1933, at Watonga. Surviving are two sons, James Bradford of Torrance, Calif., and Jerry Bradford of Watonga; one daughter, Carol Wray of Watonga; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leta, three sisters and six brothers.
