All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Queen of Heaven Cemetery--Mesa AZ Barbier, Rhena Marie Olivier Rhena Marie Olivier Barbier, 61, passed away on March 11, 2007 in Chandler, Az. She was born on April 28, 1945 to Jerome and Amelia (Stelley) Olivier. A native of Arnaudville, LA, she graduated from Arnaudville High School and then worked for Bell South in Lafayette, LA. As an Air Force wife and mother, she lived in Enid, OK; Bossier County, LA; Limestone ME; Dayton, OH; and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. She worked for MITRE Corporation in Saudi Arabia. She returned to Lafayette, LA to be near family and later moved to Chandler, AZ to be near her children and grandchildren. She was a loving wife and friend, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and mother-in-law. She was an example of faith and courage and to all that knew her while battling an extended illness. She was predeceased by her parents. Those surviving her are: her husband, Kermit, Son, Geoffrey (Jennifer) Barbier, Daughter, Gwendolyn (Mark) Johnson, Brothers; Boyd, Roger, Jerome and Vernon Olivier, Sisters; Mavis Fruge, Vivian Aymond and Nancy Lemarie, and 7 grandchildren. A visitation was held on Tuesday, March 13th from 6 - 8:00 pm, Bunker's University Chapel, 3529 E. University Drive, Mesa, Az. with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 14th at 11:00 am, St. Mary's Catholic Church, 230 W. Galveston, Chandler, Az. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1500 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa, Az.
