He became ill at his home. He was born May 14, 1896, in Danville, ILL. He came here with his parent's five years later. He was a retired railroad employee. A veteran of World War I, COLE was a meber of the Pond Creek Baptist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the WILSON Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Forrest JACKSON will officiate. Burial will be in Pond Creek Cemetery. Survivors include: His widow, Esther May of the home; one son, Donald Lee COLE of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Amos BOZARTH, Derby, Kan., Mrs. Francis MITCHELL, Blytheville, Ark., and Mrs. Kenneth McBROOM, Wichita, Kan., one brother, Clyde COLE, Pond Creek, and 15 grandchildren.
