Clifton Jr. Jan. 19, 1929 — Sept. 14, 2006 Elzie D. Clifton Jr., 77, of North Port, Fla., died Thursday. Mr. Clifton was a native of Enid, Okla. He lived in North Port four years and previously lived in Manteca. He was a retired carpenter. He is survived by his children, Vickie Nesbitt of Port Charlotte, Fla., and Steven Clifton of Modesto; stepchildren, Sharon Underwood of Modesto and Steve Sisemore of Baton Rouge, La.; sisters, Monnie Mann of Merced and Fayrene Barnes of La Grange; four grandchildren, two step grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Services pending. The National Cremation Society of Port Charlotte, Fla., in charge of arrangements.
