W.F. DAVIS, RITES PENDING Woman Came To Enid in 1917 From Farm Southwest of City Mrs. W.F. DAVIS, 66, 312 West Wabash, died at her home Tuesday evening at 4:30 p.m. following a period of ill health. She had been bedfast for several months but her condition did not become critical until Monday. She came to Enid with her family in 1917 from their farm home southwest of Enid and have lived here since that time. Mrs. DAVIS lived in Missouri before coming to Oklahoma. She is a member of the Central Christian Church. Survivors are her husband of the home address, four daughters, Mrs. Arch SNODGRASS, Carmen; Miss Goldie DAVIS of the home, Mrs. Tommy GREEN, Ponca City, Miss Edna Lee DAVIS, Washington D.C., one son, Clyde DAVIS, Kremlin. The husband and all children were with Mrs. DAVIS when death came. Also survivng are four brothers, W.A. BAKER, Butler, MO., James H. BAKER, Butler, MO., Charles Z. BAKER, Butler, MO., George BAKER, Liberty, KS and three sisters, Mrs. Lillie FARRELL, Butler, MO., Mrs. Thelma BEARD, Maywood, CA., and Mrs. Ella DILLON, Twin Falls, Idaho. Five grandchildren also survive. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Henninger-Allen Funeral home but Rev. J.N. SOURS, pastor of the Central Christian Church will be in charge of the services. The body will lie in state at the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. Note: Mr. & Mrs. DAVIS and other members of this family are buried at the Enid Cemetery.
