Born in Enid, Okla., she was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 60 years. A piano teacher, she and her husband established the Credit Bureau of Yuba and Sutter counties. She was a member of First Christian Church in Marysville, a charter member of Peach Tree Golf and Country Club in Linda; and past president of Credit Women’s Association of California, Soroptimist International of Marysville/Yuba City and Marysville Art Club, where she also served as past secretary. A graduate of Atoka High School in Atoka, Okla., she received a bachelor’s degree from Wichita Business College in Wichita, Okla. Survivors include two sons, Skip G. Epley and Robert C. Epley, both of Yuba City; a daughter, Patricia A. Phillips of Portland, Ore.; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Garlan Epley. Donations may be made to the Community Memorial Museum of Sutter County, P.O. Box 1555, Yuba City, CA 95992. Services: Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Chapel of the Twin Cities, 715 Shasta St., Yuba City.
