Pastor Stan Johnson of West Main Church of Christ will officiate. Mr. Graves, 90, of Fernley, NV, formerly of the Rogue Valley, died Thursday (March 22, 2001) at Hearthstone Nursing Home in Sparks, NV. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 698, Medford, OR 97501, or the Medford Gospel Mission, 125 W. Jackson St., Medford, OR 97501. He was born Feb. 16, 1911, in Enid, OK, a son of Henry and Sarah Graves. On Sept. 19, 1936, in Reedley, CA, he married Velma, who died in 1981. He lived in the Rogue Valley for 49 years. He worked for Eugene F. Burrill Mill for 20 years. He was a member of the Assembly of God until his illness prevented his attendance. Mr. Graves enjoyed walking and fishing. Survivors include a daughter, Darlene Sexton, Fernley, NV; a brother, Clarence, Fresno, CA; a sister, Evelyn Martens, Fresno, CA; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
