Haffner, 89, who died Wednesday at the Buchanan Nursing Home. Pastor Don J. Sales was the officiating minister. Burial was in the Roselawn Cemetery with Landes Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Haffner was born August 13, 1883, at Lehigh, Kansas. He had lived in Blaine and Garfield counties the past 70 years, where he was active in farming until his retirement. He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Survivors include his daughter, Mrs. George (Margaret) Carnahan of Fairview; a sister, Mrs. Marie Matson of El Reno and a brother, Charles, of Lodi, California. Music for the funeral service was provided by Connie Scheffler at the organ and Sonya Blehm, vocal soloist.
