Adalyn Neva Krienke ENID, Okla. - Adalyn Neva Louise Holtmann Krienke, 81, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 1999. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Gary Hendrickson officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery by Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. Mrs. Krienke was born in Enid. She graduated from Enid High School in 1936. She earned a registered nursing degree in 1940 from St. Mary's Nursing School. During World War II, she served as a nurse on construction projects at Madill and Okmulgee. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and L.W.M.L. She married Gustav E. Krienke in 1947 at Enid. They moved to Follett, Texas, where they farmed for 27 years. They moved back to Enid in 1975. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Michael Krienke of Enid, Paul Krienke of St. Louis and Daniel Krienke of Perryton, Texas; two daughters, Mary "Beth" Thomas of Enid and Lois Maxwell of Omega; a brother, Ervan Holtmann of Enid; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The family suggests memorials be to the Lutheran Hour in care of Henniger- Allen Funeral Home.
