Jessie T. Lawton

Jessie T. Lawton, 73, of Central Point, died Wednesday (July 11, 2001) at 
Rogue Valley Medical Center. A private service will be held. Inurnment 
will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery.

She was born Oct. 11, 1927, in Enid, Okla., the youngest of seven children 
born to William and Iva Burrough. She was a high school graduate, and 
lived in the Rogue Valley for 55 years. On May 22, 1948, in Central Point, 
she married Boyd A. Lawton, who survives.

Mrs. Lawton was a homemaker.

She enjoyed golfing and gardening.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, Steven, Medford, 
and Lee, Hollister, Calif.; two daughters, Linda Walsh, Eagle Point, and 
Donna Cogburn, Barrow, Alaska; five grandchildren; and three great-
grandchildren.

Cremation: Hillcrest Memorial Park Medford.

Arrangements: Central Valley Cremation and Funeral Care, Central Point.
