All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Princess Mooneyham SUNRAY - Princess Mooneyham, 90, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2002, in Enid, Okla. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Pierson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Lane Memorial Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mrs. Mooneyham was born Feb. 17, 1911, in Stephenville. In her early childhood, she and family moved and settled in Moore County, making Dumas their home. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church where she served in many different capacities from pianist, organist and soloist to Sunday school and vacation Bible school teacher. In August 1976, she and her husband retired and traveled to many different places around the United States, but wherever their travels led them, she remained profoundly proud to be a Texan. She was a vibrant member of Greenbrier Assisted Living Center in Enid. She married Lawrence Mooneyham on Sept. 7, 1937, in Dumas. Claire and Lauren were the apples of Grandma Princess' eyes. She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 11, 1976; her parents; and three brothers. Survivors include a son, John Mooneyham and wife, Ellen, of Sautee Nacoochee, Ga.; a daughter, Paula Pitcher and husband, Keith, of Enid; three sisters, Willa Hambrook and husband, Bill, of Kennewick, Wash., Adrienne Bingham of Dumas and Benona Maddox and husband, Wayne, of Miami; five grandchildren, Scott Mooneyham and wife, Lisa, of Alexandria, Va., Jennifer Sheik of Fredericksburg, Va., Richard Kerr and wife, Angela, of Geary, Okla., Nathan Mooneyham of Sautee Nacoochee and Matthew Sheik of Stillwater, Okla.; two great-granddaughters, Lauren Mooneyham of Alexandria and Claire Kerr of Geary; along with many other family and friends who will miss her dearly. The family suggests memorials be to Calvary Baptist Church, Care and Share Program, 831 E. Broadway, Enid, OK 73701 or a favorite charity.
