He was born Feb. 28, 1943 in Enid, Oklahoma to Kenneth and Kathleen Hansen. He married Eloina Iriarte April 1, 1975 in La Paz, Bolivia. Our father was a modest man. God couldn't have blessed us with a better dad. He met his wife in Bolivia, and spent the rest of his life in devotion to her and his family. All he did was for us. He loved hot rod cars, hunting, fishing and southern gospel. He talked of his sisters often and was very proud of his Oklahoma roots. He was raised as a Christian and attended Assembly of God Church. He proudly served in the US Navy as a sonar man during Vietnam and also served for many years in the US Air Force reserves. He often bragged about having both submarine Dolphins and Flight wings. He spent many years as an aircraft mechanic for Boeing. Every life is a gift and lesson from God. His lesson to you as you read this is to live your life unafraid to talk to the ones you love. Be grateful for every moment God gives you. Paul wasn't famous, he wasn't popular, but he was a good man, and he was our dad, and my husband. We love you. Funeral services will be held, Fri. December 7, 2007 at 12 noon at the Valley Assembly of God Church, 4700 South Bangerter Highway. Inurnment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park. Funeral Directors, Valley View Funeral Home. Published in the Salt Lake Tribune from 12/5/2007 - 12/6/2007. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Garfield County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/garfield/garfield.html
