She was 88 years old. Mrs. Moore was born in Covington, Oklahoma January 10, 1919 and moved to Southern California with her family at the age of two. She was raised in Santa Paula where she graduated from Santa Paula High School and business school. She moved to San Francisco during World War II, settled in Guerneville after the war, and later Santa Rosa. She was an active member of the Oddfellows and Rebekahs, the American Legion Auxiliary, the PTA, an active school volunteer, and a strong supporter of the Boy Scouts of America. Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband, Charles Moore of Santa Rosa, her two sons, Joel Taylor of San Diego and George Denise of Saratoga, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one great, great- granddaughter. A memorial service will be held at Saratoga Federated Church at 20390 Park Place in Saratoga, Monday, February 12 at 11:00 a.m. Donations in her memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society and to the Independent Order of Oddfellows Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Programs.
