Born in Greene County Missouri, he came to Oklahoma as a young man living near Cashion for ten years. After his move, the family lived in Chillicothe, Missouri, Guymon and Garber moving to Enid in 1927. His wife died 1935 with a son and daughter also proceeding him in death . He was a member of Hite Blvd. Christian Church. Surviving two sons; Walter Allen and Guy, Van Nuys California; two daughters Hazel Lauderback, Tulsa, Mrs. Al Green, Tacoma, Washington and 13 grandchildren; Don, Mac and Jack Norman, Enid; Lt. Dale Norman, Vance AFB; and 16 grgrchildren.
