Prock, 82, died Sunday, May 23, 1999. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Central Baptist Church with Dr. Derrell Monday, pastor, and the Rev. Rick Parnell, associate pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Dreamland Cemetery at Canyon by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Prock was born in Alanreed and was a lifelong resident of Gray County. He joined the Army Air Corps, and graduated from Pampa Army Air Field. After graduation, he served as a flight instrument instructor at Enid, Okla. He worked for Cabot Corp. as the chief pilot until retiring in 1972. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church and the Pampa Optimist Club. He married Frances "Fern" McCormick in 1940 at Borger. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Joyce Tuggle of Harker Heights, Janie McPeak of Lancaster, Calif., and Jeanie Carden of Weatherford; a son, Monty Prock of Cushing, Okla.; a sister, Lola Carrier of Oklahoma City, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. The family requests memorials be to Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 513 E. Francis, Pampa, TX 79065; or Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice of the Panhandle, Box 2795, Pampa, TX 79066-2795.
