Maleta Elcie Kennedy Parker

PAMPA - Maleta Elcie Kennedy Parker, 74, a former Amarillo and Pampa 
resident, died Tuesday, June 29, 1999, in Radford, Va.

Memorial graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday  in Fairview 
Cemetery in Pampa with her son, Dr. Paul R. Parker of Austinville, Va. 
officiating. Arrangements are by Seaver-Sanders & Mullins Funeral Home in 
Radford, Va.

Mrs. Parker graduated from high school in Pampa and attended Phillips 
University in Enid, Okla. From 1963 until 1969, she lived in Amarillo and 
attended North Amarillo Christian Church and First Christian Church.

In Radford, she was a bookkeeper, coordinator of Radford Nutrition Site 
and a member of Radford Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Survivors include a son, Paul R. Parker; a daughter, Linda Parker of 
Nashville, Tenn.; a sister, Erma Lee Barber of Pampa; and four 
grandchildren.

The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be to the American 
Bible Society, 1865 Broadway, New York, N.Y. 10023-7505.
