Scott, Edward Lloyd

Edward Lloyd 'Scottie', 79, passed away Monday, September 9, 2002, in 
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born March 30, 1923, in Enid, Oklahoma, to 
Edward Bodine and Agnes Mary (Johnston) Scott. Scottie was united in 
marriage April 30, 1945, in Oklahoma City, to the love of his life, Aline 
Bell. Scottie made his career in the dental supply industry for 55 years 
and retired after 35 years with Reeve Dental Supply. He enjoyed attending 
seminars and learning as much as possible about the business he loved. He 
also was instrumental in designing dental office buildings that were then 
submitted to the architect for approval. Scottie loved entertaining his 
family and friends around their pool and at their cabin at Lake Texoma. 
Scottie is survived by his wife, Bell Scott of the home; one son, Eddie 
Scott and wife, Imogene of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Kemi Schmidt and 
husband, Ernest of Oklahoma City; one brother, Clarence Scott of Oklahoma 
City; one sister, Mary Ann Partido of El Paso, Texas; five grandchildren; 
three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and family 
friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Howard 
Scott. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, September 12, 
2002, in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in 
Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
