Richard C. Schlottach

Richard C. Schlottach, 54, of Amarillo died Friday, July 29, 2005.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Cox Funeral Home Benton 
Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Mr. Schlottach was born in Enid, Okla., and was raised in Enid and 
Amarillo. He was a graduate of Tascosa High School. He was a member of the 
Lutheran Church. He married Debbie Tankersley on Dec. 31, 1971, in 
Albuquerque, N.M. She passed away in 2001. Mr. Schlottach was a quality 
control manager in the clothing manufacturing industry for many years. He 
traveled all over the world with his work. He worked for Levi Strauss, 
Walls, The Gap and Eddie Bauer as well as Tommy Hilfiger.

He was also preceded in death by his father, Walter Schlottach.

Survivors include a daughter, Ginger Schlottach of Amarillo; a son, David 
K. Schlottach of Amarillo, his mother, Myrtle Schlottach of Tyler; and a 
brother, David C. Schlottach of Tyler.

The family suggests memorials be to the Don and Sybil Harrington Cancer 
Center, 1500 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106.
