UHLENHAKE KINGFISHER ­ The funeral for Albert R. “Burt” Uhlenhake, 77. will be 2 p.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Darryl Owen will officiate. Burial with American Legion funeral rites will be in Kingfisher Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sanders Funeral Service. He was born April 27, 1924, in Kingfisher to David and Alice Duggan Uhlenhake and died Friday, Feb. 22, 2002, at Mercy Health Center, Oklahoma City. He graduated from Kingfisher High School. On Feb. 13, 1947, he married Doris Farmer. He served in the Army during World War II in the South Pacific. After the war, he was employed as a salesman with International Paper Co. in Oklahoma City for many years. Surviving are his wife, Doris; one cousin, Louise Yoder of Kingfisher; and niece and nephews.
