All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ENID NEWS & EAGLE 28 Feb 2002 VERNA LEE WHITE WAYNOKA ­ The funeral for Verna Lee White, 74, will be 2 p.m. Friday in Waynoka United Methodist Church. The Rev. Terril Parvin will officiate. Burial will be in Waynoka Cemetery. Arrangements are by Marshall Funeral Home. She was born May 3, 1927, in Woods County to Homer Orla and Mable Armour Wilson and died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, at her home in Waynoka. She graduated from Waynoka High School. On Jan. 12, 1948, she married Arthur Orin White at Woodward. They lived in Waynoka. Surviving are three sons, Garold of Medicine Lodge, Kan., Bobby of Claude, Texas, and Melvin of Waynoka; one brother, Bennie Wilson; one sister, Eva Bush of Enid; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sept. 25, 1989, one son, two brothers and one grandson.
