MARGARET EVELYN WILKERSON

KINGFISHER ---The funeral for Margaret Evelyn Wilkerson, 83, will be 2 
p.m. Saturday at Sanders Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Kingfisher 
Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sanders Funeral Services, Inc.

She was born Dec. 12, 1918, in Frankfort, Kan., to Rufus R. and Winifred 
Evelyn Reust Trint and died Wednesday Feb. 20, 2002, at Kingfisher 
Regional Hospital.

She married Leon Wilkerson Aug. 9, 1943, in Sebastian County, Ark. They 
made their home in Lawton, where they operated a turkey farm. They moved 
to Arizona and then came to Kendrick. Following her husband’s death, she 
moved to Kingfisher. She attended the Assembly of God.

Surviving are four sisters, Pauline Crabtree of Kingfisher, Lindy King of 
Ava, Mo., Twyla King of Eufaula and Naomi Wallen of Oklahoma City; and two 
brothers, Fred Trent of Kingfisher, and Jim Trent of Moore.
