He died Tuesday in an Ashdown, Ark., hospital. Rev. Ray Clanton will officiate, assisted by Rev. Paul Kienholz. He was born Feb. 9, 1908 in Fayetteville, Ark., and was married to Flossie Lee Eaton on Sept. 1, 1929 in Okmulgee. He had been employed in the oil industry 41 years and a resident of Lindsay for the past 18 years. Survivors include his wife, Flossie, of the home; one son, Si Dean Beckett of Lompoc, Calif.; two daughters, Jo Anne Phillips, Yorva* Linda, Calif., and Peggy Jean Cochran, Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Brownridge** of Chateau***; Mrs. Eva Zarnt**** of East St. Louis, Ill., and Mrs. Mary Lou White of Tulsa. Burial will be in Greenhill cemetery with the Brown-Boydston Funeral home in charge of arrangement. Ray Clanton, pastor of the Cavalry* Baptist Church, officiated at the services, assisted by Rev. Paul Kienholz, pastor of the Linday Methodist Church. Burial was in Greenhill Cemetery under the direction of the Brown-Boydston Funeral Home.
