All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Lane Memorial Gardens--Eugene OR Eugene Register Guard 9 Mar 2007 Charley Bisbee SPRINGFIELD - The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 10, at Lane Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Eugene for Charley Ray Bisbee of Springfield, formerly of Junction City, who died March 6 of age- related causes at age 82. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Following the funeral, a gathering will be held at the Veterans of Foreign Wars facility in Springfield. He was born Dec. 31, 1924, in Lindsay, Okla., to Ethel Bisbee. He married Lillian Savalli, and she later died. He married Ferba Howes on July 13, 1991, in Springfield. Bisbee served in the Navy and the Army. He was a mill worker for Lane Plywood until his retirement in 1986. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Doris Curtis of Texas; a son, Chuck of Yoncalla; a stepson, Terry Howes of Fall Creek; three stepdaughters, Iona Kline of Springfield, Bobbie Emerson of La Pine and Debra Houts of Eugene; and numerous grandchildren and great- grand- children. Private burial will be in Lane Memorial Gardens.
