All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Resthaven Memory Gardens--OKC OK Combs, Jack Jack Combs, 66, was born in Maysville, OK September 20, 1936 to Bill and Cecelia Sprowls Combs. He entered eternal life April 10, 2003 in Oklahoma City, OK forever to be with his Lord and Savior. He married Rowena S. Combs November 4, 1955 in Elmore City, OK. The couple have celebrated over 47 years together. Jack was employed with Kimray Inc. as an Industrial Engineer for 46 years. He was a very active outdoors person who loved to play softball, baseball, and thoroughly enjoyed fishing. He also enjoyed bowling and woodworking. Everyone enjoyed the Christmas figures that he made and the beautiful Christmas lights that he would put up each year. He was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Norman. He is survived by his wife, Rowena of the home; a daughter, Penny Humphrey and husband Nick of Edmond; a son, Ricky Combs and wife Susan of Moore; five grandchildren, Christina Combs, Nathan Combs, Keith Henry, Kyla Humphrey, and Nicholas Humphrey; three sisters, Mary Ann Nunn of Lone Grove, TX, Carolyn Fletcher of Del City, and Linda Shaffer of Tempe, AZ; one brother, John Combs of Del City; brother-in-law, David Shirley of Purcell; a sisterin-law, Madge Hale of Elmore City; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 14, 2003 in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens.
