Mrs. Couch, 86, taken by death		

Mrs. Sarah Mattie Couch, 86, a resident of 
Garvin County since 1907, died at 2 a.m. 
Monday at her home at 1315 South East 
Avenue in Pauls Valley.

She was born Nov. 24, 1874 in Texas.  She 
was a member of the Church of Christ in
Pauls Valley.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday
at the Stufflebean Funeral Home chapel with 
Ector Watson, minister of the Pauls Valley 
Church of Christ, officating.  Burial will be at
Antioch.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Lena
Williams of Pauls Valley;  three sons, Clarence
Couch of Pauls Valley, Joe Couch and Roy 
Couch of Plainview, Texas; one sister, Mrs.
Laudie Neal Fredrick of Oklahoma City,
eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren,
and four great-great grandchildren.
