All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Cuenca, Allen Mercer ALLEN MERCER CUENCA December 14, 1942 - December 6, 2006 Born in Paul's Valley, Oklahoma, a resident of Fremont for 58 years, and a graduate of Washington High School, Class of 1960. Allen is survived by his wife, Alice, of 40 years; son, Allen Shenan Cuenca and wife, Jocelyn; grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Brandon and son, Lance Cuenca. He is also survived by his mother, Ivy Jewel Cuenca; sister, Lequita O'Neal and family. He was in the Air Force and was a graduate of San Jose State University. Allen retired from the Alameda County Water District in 2003 after 41 years of service as a Civil Engineer. He was an active member of many service groups including: Jaycee's, Bay Area Water Works Association, Washington Township Men's Club, Alameda Masonic Lodge #167 and served on the Ohlone College Oversight Committee. He was a man who wore many hats (literally) but his passion and enthusiasm was for the game of golf. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Allen's life on Saturday, January 20th at 1 p.m. at the Senior Center at Lake Elizabeth. Allen loved to walk around the lake and did it almost daily, so we will walk with him one more time at 3 p.m. rain or shine.
