Helen Frances Dorsey

PAMPA - Helen Frances Cave Dorsey, 77, died Thursday, April 23, 1998.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Fairview Cemetery 
with the Rev. Mike Sublett, pastor of Hi-Land Christian Church 
officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral 
Directors. 

Mrs. Dorsey was born in Pauls Valley, Okla., and had been a resident 
of Pampa since the 1930's. She was a waitress and a member of the 
First Christian Church.

She married D.L. "Dale" Dorsey in 1982 at Clovis, N.M. He died in 
1989.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty Rose of Pampa; a son, Vern Roger 
Cave Jr. of Pampa; two brothers, James Canady of Fresno, Calif., and 
Herbert G. Canady of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two sisters, Barbara 
Courville and Hazel Poston, both of Pampa; seven grandchildren; and 
five great-grandchildren.

The family will be at the home of Jack and Betty Rose. They request 
memorials be to Hospice of the Panhandle, Box 2795, Pampa, Texas 
70966-2795.
