Dunn On May 31st, 1925 at 10:30 A.M. God called another of his children home to rest in the person of Mrs. Jennie Dunn. The deceased was before her marriage, Miss Jennie McCarty, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. McCarty. She was born December 5th, 1879. She was married to Mr. James A. Dunn, and to this union was born five children, Kay, Frank, Grace, Ira and Stella. Her home was at Liberty, six miles south of Pauls Valley. Mrs. Dunn has been ill for several weeks, and as she was a good Christian woman, we are sure she met death not with fear, but rejoicing to enter the long peaceful slumber to which God beckoned her. The funeral was conducted by Rev. J. B. Reaves and interment was made at the Klondike cemetery where hosts of friends and relatives were gathered to witness the last rites over the dead body. The deceased was certainly a friend to all she met, a neighbor who was loved and appreciated by all, a fond and companionable mother, a true wife, and above all one of God's own children who has served Him faithfully for many years, and is now gone home to heaven to receive her reward. Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to her bereaved ones in this sad hour, but only God knows just what is needful and best, so look to Him for comfort and consolation, for He is a steadfast friend and a true companion in time of need. She cannot be brought back to this earth but we can all join her with the host of angels in glory. May God's mercy and tender kindness be with her husband and children and comfort them in our sincere wishes. She leaves to mourn her death, Mr. James A.
