Gardner, died last Friday, March 12, at the age of sixtythree years. She was one of the best known women in Garvin county and her loss is mourned by many. Mrs. Gardner was born May 10, 1844, and had been married two score years. She is survived by a husband, [sic] four of whom live in Wynnewood, Mrs. O.T. Williams, W.R. Losson, Ben and Dolph Gardner. The funeral took place Saturday afternoon at the methodist church. The pastor, I.K. Waller, was assisted by two of Mrs. Gardner's former ministers, J.H. Florence and J.A. Rowan. The attendance was large. Mrs. Gardner was a charter member of the Wynnewood methodist church when it was organized twentysix years ago and it was at her own request that the first preacher should take part in her funeral service.
