Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Boydstun officiating. Burial will be in Melrose Cemetery at Melrose. Mrs. Gibbs was born in Wynnewood, Okla. She was a homemaker. She married Joel Dick Gibbs in 1930 at Sayre, Okla. She was preceded in death by her husband; and a son, Alford "Al" Gibbs. Survivors include a son, Larry Gibbs of Silver City; three daughters, Billie Jean Walker of Portales, Joan Harville of McDonough, Ga., and Lula Estle of Clovis; two brothers, Billy Ray Wardwell of California and Harvill Wardwell of Portland, Ore.; three sisters, Annie Arter of Salinas, Calif., Florence Olsen of Brawley, Calif., and Ruth Wardwell of Guthrie, Calif.; 19 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. Viewing is at the funeral home any time before the service.
