Richard Phillips officiating. Miss Hedrick was born June 22, 1913, in Hennepin to Charles and Ida (Brown) Hedrick and died Jan. 16, 2005. She grew up in Hennepin with her twin sister, Ida Jacks, and three other sisters and two brothers. She had polio at an early age that left one leg paralyzed; therefore, she was unable to work outside her home. She never married but had an extended family of loving nieces and nephews. She loved people, telling jokes and laughter. She had been a resident of Burford Manor Nursing Home for the last nine years but considered Hennepin her home. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Hennepin. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, W.W. "Bounce" and Oscar "Shorty" Hedrick; four sisters, Maudie Frenchman, Pearl Norrid, Opal Harris and Ida Jacks; two nephews, Kelsie Horton and Charles Horton, and two nieces, Oniece Pickett and JoAnn Sandusky.
