Keil, 76, of Amarillo, died Monday, Aug. 2, 1999. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle with the Rev. Jerry Thomas, pastor of North Beacon Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with military rites by Disabled American Veteran's Chapter 26. Mr. Keil was born in Butler, Okla., and had lived in Amarillo since 1950. He graduated from Stafford High School at Stafford, Okla. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Keil had worked for the Helium Plant. He was a member of North Beacon Church of the Nazarene. He married Lillie Irene in 1944 at Butler. She died in 1993. Survivors include three daughters, Carol Harvey and Freda Goodwin, both of Bullard, and Sarah Bristow of Amarillo; a sister, Betty Garcia of California; special friend, Joyce Richardson; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to North Beacon Church of the Nazarene, 1601 N. Nelson St., Amarillo, TX 79107.
