King Graveside services for William W. King, 104, Davis, were held at 11:00 a.m. at Green Hill Cemetery with Rev. Finis Steelman officiating. Hale's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Born June 1, 1901 in Paoli, Indian Territory to Margaret Callie (Slider) and William E. King, he died Friday, Jan. 13 in Davis. Following high school graduation, he attended college where he received an associate degree in business. He married Maxine Martens on December 24, 1944 in Rockwell City, Iowa. She preceded him in death in September, 1974. He later married Trixie Martin on May 1, 1976. She preceded him in death in 1989. He worked as a market manager for Cities Service Oil Company for 43 years. During this time, he worked in several company locations including Tulsa, Kansas City, Mo., Chicago, Ill. and Terra Haute, Ind., before retiring in 1966. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include two nieces, Mary Ann King, Ardmore and Judy Largent and husband, Steve, Davis; two nephews, Bill Mills, Seattle, Wash. and Durwood Barnes; one stepson, Dusty Rhodes and wife, Glenda and one brother, Sam King, Davis.
