J.M. Loper dies
from Heart Disease

J.M. Loper, 79 years old, 
died at the hom of his son,
George Loper, February 20.
Heart disease was the cause 
of his death, physicians said.
The funeral services were 
conducted by Rev. Walter
Douglass.  Burial was made 
in Mt. Olivet cemetery.  Mr.
Loper had made his home 
with his son here for the past 
two years.  He formerly lived 
at Maysville.

Five children survive as 
follows: George and Jesse, 
both of Pauls Valley; Frank,
of Oklahoma City; Charlie of 
St. Louis, Okla., and Mrs. 
Nicie Sellars of Walters.
